Exergen Global enters into collaborations with MK Scientific in Japan
Signs Marketing and Distribution Agreement with MK Scientific for Family Line of Thermal Management Infrared Sensor Solutions
Zijtaart, the Netherlands, Yokohama, Japan, June 10, 2021 - Exergen Global appointed MK Scientific (MKSCI) as its official distributor of Exergen’s infrared non-contact temperature sensors in Japan. MKSCI established in 2001, provides measurement solutions and systems which fit markets like government, medical companies, food processing, life science and education-related institutions. MKSCI partners with Exergen Global to uncover new OEM opportunities for Exergen’s thermal management solutions by offering its complete line of non-contact IRt/c sensors.
“We always have provided high quality measurement knowledge which we translated into one of a kind, cost efficient solutions. We like to make a difference and are convinced that we exactly can do so by partnering up with Exergen Global”, said Mr. Yoshihiro Sasaki, VP of Sales of MK Scientific. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with the great people at Exergen Global and look forward to jointly working with OEMs in Japan”.
“Japan is an important and for Exergen Global a vastly unexplored market. According to the World Economic Forum, Japan belongs to the top 3 world’s manufacturing superpower, closing the rank after China and the USA. Their knowledge and network in strong markets like medical will help us to become the recognized brand we are like in the rest of the world”, concluded Bram Stelt, CEO of Exergen Global. “We are truly looking forward working with them in order to make a difference”, he added.
Exergen’s IRt/c product line includes:
- Precalibrated IRt/cs: The world’s only self-powered infrared thermocouple. Best for low temperatures (<260°C or <500°F) and non-metal or coated metal surfaces.
- Adjustable IRt/cs: A self-powered, infrared thermocouple that is field calibrated. High temperatures (up to 2760°C or 5000°F) and metal surfaces can be measured. Special optics available for small spots.
- AutoSmart IRt/cs: The AutoSmart IRt/c line consists of the 01, M, IR, SV, 1X, 3X, 3SV, 5, MA, M4, M4SV and AGRI. They all process the mV signal from any IRt/c or Micro IRt/c model, linearizes the signal and gives an analog output signal (4-20mA, 0-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V). Custom calibrations are offered.
Exergen holds more than 75 patents in the field of non-contact IR temperature sensors, and offers the industry’s only self-powered IRt/cs. Its sensors deliver accuracy of within 0,01°C (0.02°F), and have high repeatability, 0,0001°C (0.0002°F) resolution, and response times between 50 and 150 milliseconds.
